The Hampstead Garden Club is open to residents of Hampstead and surrounding towns who enjoy gardening. If you are a beginner or a master gardener, you can learn, share, create and socialize in a fun and relaxing environment.
Club Purpose
Our club purpose is to encourage an interest in gardening, to promote civic beauty and the conservation of natural resources.
Community Pride
For more than 40 years, The Hampstead Garden Club, a non-profit organization, has been committed to improving our public green space. We establish and maintain beautiful gardens in Hampstead including Sign Island, Veterans’ Memorial Park, the Library gardens, and Ordway Park. Once a month, teams gather to weed, water and trim flowers and shrubs at a chosen site.
Exciting Programs, Fundraising, Gardening Destinations
Members enjoy programs with guest lecturers, demonstrations, and “hands-on” workshops on a wide variety of garden-related topics. We all take part in planning the annual fundraiser – typically a Plant Sale or Garden Walk that the public looks forward to each year. Tours of gardens and excursions to popular gardening destinations are highlights of the Club’s summer activities.
We are always looking for new members, and we welcome everybody! If you are interested in learning more, join us at one of our open meetings (see the 2024 Programs page for more information), or email us at HGClub@hampsteadgarden.org.
